Eran Kali
Chairman
Eran Kali is the founder of Terra Firma Nano Materials. He brings more than 20
years' experience in technology entrepreneurship. In addition to being the
chairman of Terra Firma, Kali serves as a marketing executive of a leading
technology firm in the electronics industry.
|
Prior to this, Kali acted as a
consultant to early-stage technology start-ups to develop strategies and
product roadmaps, and build a global network of business relationships with
partners in Japan, Korea, Europe and the United States. In 1989, Kali
co-founded Ligature, an OCR company, where he served as vice president of
R&D until the company’s acquisition by Wizcom Technologies in 1997. Within
Wizcom, Kali was chief technology officer and a development leader of the
Quicktionary Pen, a portable translating pen scanner.
In 1999, Wizcom became the first Israeli company to be publicly traded in
Frankfurt, and in 2000 Kali became president and was responsible for overseeing
Wizcom’s technology roadmap and re-strategizing plan. Kali holds a bachelor’s
degree in computer science and psychology from the Hebrew University,
Jerusalem. Kali is an avid and competitive mountain biker and the father of two
boys living in Jerusalem |

Assaf Katan
General Manager
Assaf is a business development, marketing & investment professional and
entrepreneur who has been working in the hi-tech market for the last 10 years.
In the late 1990's, Assaf was a Team Leader at Shaldor, the leading strategic
consulting firm in Israel working with leading global

| companies, and later co-founded his own
successful consulting activity. Following this, Assaf worked for 5 years at
Comverse, the world leader in Value Added Services solutions for Telecom
operators, in various Corporate Marketing and Business Development roles, where
he initiated and led the company's entry into new domains. In the last 2 years,
Assaf has led entrepreneurial activities, among them the set up of Liav Fund,
an early stage, technology oriented investment fund. Assaf holds a bachelor’s
degree in psychology and business administration from the Tel Aviv University.
